1½ c. sugar
½ c. baking cocoa
½ c. milk
1 stick of butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3 c. quick-cooking oats, uncooked
1 c. flaked coconut

Bring sugar, cocoa, milk and butter to a rolling boil in a heavy saucepan over medium heat. Boil one minute. Stir in vanilla, oats and coconut. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto wax paper; let cool until firm.  Makes about 4 dozen.
