We might be a little biased, but we think this is the best pecan pie you’ll ever eat. Even when we order pecan pie from nice restaurants, we end up shaking our head. It’s just never as good as Marie’s.
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
½ cup light Karo syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
3 Tbsp. butter, melted
¾ cup pecan halves
1 unbaked pie crust
Cream sugar and eggs with a fork. Stir in other ingredients. Pour into crust. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and cook for an additional 30 minutes.
