2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1½ tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
½ tsp. baking soda
½ stick of butter
1 egg
¾ c. orange juice
1 Tbsp. grated orange rind (optional)
1½ c. fresh cranberries
½ c. chopped walnuts

Combine dry ingredients. Cut in butter with pastry blender. Beat egg, orange juice, and rind; add to dry ingredients. Stir until blended. Add cranberries and walnuts. Pour into greased and floured 9 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 65 minutes.
